Field technicians completed all planned surveys (100%) in 2024. Technicians conducted 87 point counts within the 8 surveyed grid cells between June 5 and July 9. They detected 74 bird species, including 0 priority species.

Bird Conservancy estimated densities (birds per square kilometer) for 132 species that were detected in any year during which surveys were conducted, 0 of which are priority species. The data yielded robust density estimates (CV < 50%) for 9 species.

We obtained results for Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area by compiling and analyzing data from one stratum.

Field technicians completed both planned surveys (100%) in 2024. Technicians conducted 19 point counts within the 2 surveyed grid cells between June 6 and June 7. They detected 34 bird species, including 6 priority species.
